Job DescriptionCoca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Group People Experience Manager, to join the Group Human Resources team in the Human Resources division in CCBA. The successful applicant will be reporting into the Chief People Officer (CPO). The Group People Experience Manager is a senior level resource in the Human Resources division and their work has a significant impact on the success of the organization. The Group People Experience Manager is responsible for designing and delivering HR solutions that guide employees through the critical moments of their employee lifecycle. They take the lead in creating the workplace conditions and interactions that bind employees to the enterprise and encourage employee engagement. They consider all the aspects that inform the employee’s workplace experience, and they ensure that that these processes, methodologies and solutions are modernised, continually evolving and speaks to the requirements of an agile, flexible workplace. The Group People Experience Manager leads a team that focusses and actively works to create the workplace conditions that enable employees to perform and thrive by focussing on: HR Operations (Global QA) Employee Relationship Management – Rights & Compliance Internal Communications Employee Value Proposition Culture and wellness Diversity and inclusion Workplace Services Digital HR People Analytics Apart from ensuring that there are standard and optimised HR operational processes, systems and analytics in place, the Group People Experience Manager will also focus on aspects that determine the experience of the employee such as wellness, diversity and inclusion and ER. A critical focus for them is the management and evolution of the CCBA organisational culture through the regular baselining of the culture and subcultures in divisions, countries, departments and teams, the identification of areas for cultural focus and leading efforts to evolve components of the organisational culture for the Group. Other focus areas include acting as the business owner for Digital HR and partnering closely with the CCBA IT team and the Centre for Business Process Excellence (CBPE) to identify HR business needs to select, design and deploy HR systems. They also partner with CCBA IT to identify, develop and make available insightful HR analytics that support and aid business decision making.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesUsing the organisational culture as the foundation for the development of authentic and inspiring employee value propositions for the organisation and specific functions in the business. Sourcing or developing the wellness solutions identified in the plan and implementing the initiatiatives according to the roadmap. Providing continuous access to wellness support and services as they experience. Ensuring the existence of and easy access to the organisations diversity and inclusion philosophy and policies. Driving efforts to train employees on the diversity and inclusion and maintaining communication and information campaigns. Keeping abreast of general developments in the digital HR and HR analytics. Maintaining a good understanding of the CCBA HR systems architecture. Working with IT colleagues to identify and prioritise gaps in the HR architecture and agreeing on the required solutions and timelines for solutions implementation. Working with the members of the Employee Experience team to define and agree their work goals and assigned tasks. Empowering and enabling the Employee Experience team members to plan and deliver against their goals. Ensuring the Employee Experience team members have the necessary competence, tools, and information to execute their work and by supporting the team when they encounter obstacles. Monitoring the work and performance of the different Employee Experience team members and advising, challenging, and coaching them to design and deliver innovative solutions. Taking corrective action when work is not progressing to plan or meeting internal best practice standards and governance requirements. Acting as point of escalation for issues and problems that cannot be resolved by Employee Experience team members themselves. Engaging with and facilitating ongoing discussions and workshops with colleagues in the HR department and business stakeholders to determine their future needs and to jointly plan Employee Experience initiatives. Contributing to the requirements specification for the RFP, participating in evaluating and shortlisting service providers and managing the final negotiations and contracting. Overseeing the establishment and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or Scopes of Work (SOWs) with vendors. Ensuring the effective management of the service providers and vendors. Maintaining a good relationship with key service providers through regular meetings and information update sessions. Ensuring the correct policies and procedures are followed and that all vendor contracts meet corporate governance requirements. Leading efforts to build a robust body of knowledge and to select or design best practice frameworks, models, processes, and methodologies. Overseeing the development of standards, processes, procedures, and policies to regulate and control the work completed by the different talent teams. Taking responsibility for ensuring that the solutions and processes implemented meet audit, SOX, POPIA and other legislative requirements. Encouraging a culture of innovation in the team and sponsoring selected innovation ideas. Ensuring operational excellence and continual modernisation of solutions in line with human resources, digital HR, and business trends. Meeting regularly with HR colleagues to identify, agree and prioritise HR project priorities. Contributing to the shared knowledge of the team by sharing insights, understanding and experiences. Supporting internal improvement initiatives within the HR department to ensure continuous business improvement.
Skills, Experience & EducationQualifications: The minimum qualification required for this job is an Honours, Masters or Doctorate Degree, in Industrial Psychology, Human Resources or Organisational Development. Experience 12 to 14 years’ experience in a Human Resources corporate or consulting environment with at least 7 years focused on working in one or more of the talent domains.
